I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Operations Management and Business Analytics at Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School. I received my PhD in Operations Management from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.

Research

My research lies at the intersection of operations management and behavioral science. My areas of expertise are experiment design, behavioral economics/operations, service operations and innovation/entrepreneurship.

Awards Update (September 2024): Our 2023 Operations Research paper was named a finalist in the MSOM Service SIG best paper competition. Winners will be announced at the upcoming INFORMS 2024 annual meeting!

Media Update (May 2024): I was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal and AARP to discuss my work on AI chatbots. See theory and experiment papers for details.

Teaching

I teach Business Analytics in Johns Hopkins Carey Full-Time MBA, MS and part-time programs. Previously I have taught Operations Management in the Michigan Ross BBA program.
